Substantial technical and aesthetic improvements have been made to the truck, and new gear options have been added to accompany its existing stable of professional equipment. The truck is available for daily or weekly rental, and includes an experienced crew.

toybox remote recording was honored to be able to record Natalie Cole and Aaron Neville down at Heritage Christian Center in Aurora. The show was amazing as expected and the sold out show made it all the better!!!
*NEW* KBCO's 30th Anniversary Show!!
toybox recorded KBCO's Live 30th Anniversary Show at the Paramount Theatre, featuring Keb Mo, Lyle Lovett, Paulo Nutini, Shawn Colvin, and Loudon Wainwright. The Colorado Rockies head coach Clint Hurdle even showed up to enjoy the music.
toybox is continuing to upgrade their ProTools HD3 system. toybox has upgraded to the newest version of ProTools, 7.4. This configuration offers more power and flexibility, and allows for quicker and more efficient completion of projects because of the system’s expanded dedicated processing power and I/O capacity: 64 in/56 out.
Super Stars and toybox remote recording! Some recent recordings include Norah Jones at Red Rocks, an intimate KBCO Studio C recording of Bruce Hornsby on location at Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, CO this summer,Double-Platinum selling,22 year old, Grammy Nominee, Jonny Lang at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for a live broadcast.
Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Steve Vai came to town on their G3 tour and toybox recorded both their Denver show at the Fillmore Auditorium and their following show at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City.
toybox and the Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival toybox remote recording truck and crew spent the past few years every June recording the four wonderful days of bluegrass, folk and funk that is the Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. toybox recorded this past 2004 Bluegrass Fest with the lineup including, Tim O’Brien Band, Steppin’ in it, New Monsoon, Jorma Kaukonen and Blue Country, Natalie MacMaster, Seldome Scene, Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Guy Clark, Joe Ely, Hit and Run Bluegrass, Reeltime Travelers, Railroad Earth, John Cowan Band, Jerry Douglas Band, Ani Difranco, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Peter Rowan and Crucial Reggae, Edgar Meyer, The Mammals, Mark O’Connor and the Hot Swing Trio, Steve Earl and the Bluegrass Dukes, Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush Band, Spearhead, Mavis Staples, Xavier Rudd, Darrell Scott, Bering Strait, Rodney Crowell, Mindy Smith, and Yonder Mountain String Band . toybox also captured the 30th Anniversary of the TBF 2003 in it’s entirety for a future CD/DVD release.
toybox in etown
toybox has recorded some very special shows for the nationally syndicated radio show etown in the past few years. To name a few etown recordings, Ani Difranco and Hammel on Trial, etown rocks, an epic concert at Red Rock Amphitheater, with artists Barenaked Ladies, Blind Boys of Alabama, Michelle Shocked, Keller Williams, and Yonder Mountain String Band, at the historic Macky Auditorium Sam Bush and Dave Grisman, along with Cassandra Wilson, and Natalie McMaster. toybox remote recording truck has years of history recording etown and we continue to enjoy working with them!
Also in the past few years, toybox has recorded the annual Blues Traveler show at Red Rocks for their first DVD release. Thinnest of Air: Live from Red Rocks was mixed and mastered in stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound at Colorado Sound Studios.
Wallflowers at the Fox!
toybox recorded the Wallflowers live at the Fox Theater in Boulder, CO for radio broadcast. Mixed at Colorado Sound by Kevin Clock, Keefer from KBCO said that "the recording is great and KBCO looks forward to working with toybox in the near future!" toybox has recorded the Colorado Symphony Orchestra several times in the last year for Qwest television commercials. These performances were recorded in the historic Boettcher concert hall. Past remote recordings that Kevin Clock engineered include: Dierks Bentley, Train, Yellowcard, Randy Travis, Collin Raye, Collective Soul, Sarah McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Tea Leaf Green, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Yes, Dave Matthews Band, and others. Allen Baca also has an extensive remote recording background including technical engineering for four years of The Superbowl, and for concerts by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Metallica, and more. Rather unique remote recordings include Hootie & The Blowfish, for a live-to-internet broadcast from Red Rocks, and recording a String Cheese Incident concert that was mixed in surround sound at Colorado Sound by Kevin Clock, for their recent DVD, Evolution.
