*NEW* Vonnegut!!!! Local band Vonnegut finished recording their next album here at Colorado Sound. All songs were produced, tracked, and mixed by JP Manza in studio A. *NEW* CMT & Coyote Ugly!! Country Music Television (CMT) and The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search 3 team held national auditions in Denver for their 2008 reality show. The nine girls battle it out in dancing, bartending and entertaining challenges. Colorado Sound Studios engineer Steve Avedis and Jesse O’Brien track the contestants T.V. vocals for that evening’s audition at Coyote Ugly Saloon, Denver, Colorado. For More info, Click Here!!




*NEW* Rocco Deluca's Album out Soon!!! While on tour, Rocco Deluca and the Burden started recording their next album here with our very own JP Manza (engineer) and Jesse O'Brien (ast. engineer). All tracks were recorded to 24 track 2" tape to get that big, warm, fat sound. After their 2007 tour ends, they want to concentrate on the new album and get more into the studio mode. This fully-equipped remote recording truck has been rockin’ and rollin' non-stop since it’s conception. The toybox remote recording truck is used to professionally record live concert performances, live broadcasts for radio and the internet, and audio for video shoots.

toybox remote recording was honored to be able to record Natalie Cole and Aaron Neville down at Heritage Christian Center in Aurora. The show was amazing as expected and the sold out show made it all the better!!!


*NEW* KBCO's 30th Anniversary Show!!
toybox recorded KBCO's Live 30th Anniversary Show at the Paramount Theatre, featuring Keb Mo, Lyle Lovett, Paulo Nutini, Shawn Colvin, and Loudon Wainwright. The Colorado Rockies head coach Clint Hurdle even showed up to enjoy the music.

Panic At The Disco! at the Fillmore, Denver. Several commercials for Qwest with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Blues Traveler at Red Rocks for their DVD, and Collin Raye at the Ecenter for His upcoming DVD release. Wendy Woo has Finished "Luxury", her 7th album here this late winter. "Luxury" was tracked, and mixed by JP Manza and mastered by Tom Capek.

Tom Capek has been mastering a series of feature length DVD's for Sophiarte. These releases integrate music and film and are marketed internationally for broadcast, filmed in HD format.

Colorado Sounds New Gear

Colorado Sound is continuing to upgrade our ProTools HD3 system with the newest ProTools version 7.4. Colorado Sound has also added the Manley Voxbox, the Neve 8801 producers Channel Strip, the Neve 8804 Stereo EQ, and 6 API 512 C mic preamps. The Manley Voxbox adds warmth and color, while the 512 API preamps are sonically at the top of the list. Also recently added to our already extensive digital plug-ins, Melodyne plug-in, and the Oxford Limiter. We have several new microphones in our arsenal: 2 Stereo matched Neumann Tube M 147's, 2 stereo paired DPA 4011's, the Royer 121 ribbon mic,and 2 phantom powered Royer 122 ribbon mics. We also recently added 3 API 560 graphic EQ's and 2 API 550 Parametric EQ's
